A photographer & a legal professional – strangers to one another – cross paths at a park. What starts off as an argument over consent & permission evolves into a liberating conversation that sees both of them open up to each other about their pasts and dreams, their gleeful joys and personal struggles.
Soon enough they begin to grow feelings for eachother even though something bitter-sweet hangs over them. “Before I Let You Go” is an elegant romantic comedy, a tribute to the city of Lagos and a nuanced reflection on the transformative power of human interaction.
