The worried king asks the Chief priest (the oracle\,) to seek the voice of the Gods for a solution. \n\n\n\n\nThe oracle does as he is told. He is met with the Goddess Nesusu\, who is furious about the immoral and greedy attitude of her people. On behalf of the people\, the oracle begs for forgiveness\, which she grants but with a CONDITION. She gives the oracle instructions and he sets back to Akamba and swings into action. Through the oracle\, Nesusu plays chess with the lives of two young boys (Nyso and Bongo\,) their parents and the King. (This is not a regular story Jesus story) \n\n\n\n\nAlmasihu (the promised) is a an experimental drama\, written by Adeyemo Elizabeth (Smiley). It’s a comedy about what happens if Jesus Christ is born in Nigeria. Baby Jesus comes through Mariam\, an Hausa young lady\, a fiancee to Joseph\, who is from the Igbo tribe. War happens as the two tribe aren’t United and won’t allow marriage from another tribe. Chaos upon Chaos happens as soon as they figure that there’s something special about the unborn baby. Everyone tries to claim the baby including the colonial master. As promised\, Baby Jesus fulfils the word of God and finds his way out of his mother’s womb and into the earth to bring peace and unite every tribe here in Nigeria.
