Women In The Creative Space | Lagos Gallery Weekend

As part of Women’s Art Week, Women in the Creative Space brings together voices shaping the future of the arts for an engaging panel discussion on leadership, accessibility, and the evolving role of women within the creative industry.

Taking place on March 7th from 4:00PM – 5:30PM at the Alliance Française de Lagos / Mike Adenuga Centre, this thought-provoking session will explore the journeys, challenges, and achievements of women working across the art sector in Nigeria and beyond.

Through open conversation and shared experiences, panelists will reflect on their personal and professional paths in the creative space — discussing how women continue to navigate, influence, and redefine the structures of the contemporary art world. The discussion will also highlight the importance of accessibility, representation, and leadership in ensuring that more women can thrive within the global art ecosystem.
